Why do you want to become a cabin crew?

"So, why do you want to become a cabin crew?"
That’s one of the most common — and most misunderstood — interview questions out there.

Let me spill the tea on how NOT to answer it.
Here are a few real answers from our Chicken or Fish fam (we love y’all, but let’s fix this):

❌ “Because I love traveling.”
Okay, but... so does everyone on Instagram.

❌ “Because I look good in uniform.”
Sure, slay queen, but let’s not base our entire career on a blazer.

❌ “Because I want to move to Dubai.”
A little too honest, bestie

❌ “Because I’ve dreamed about this since I was a kid.”
Cute, but the recruiters want more than just vibes.

So what’s the right way to answer it?

✅ Show your humanity.
Talk about how you love helping people, creating comfort in stressful situations, staying calm when things go sideways, and turning chaos into calm.
That’s what they’re really hiring you for. That’s what makes you crew material.

You’re not just there to serve chicken or fish — you’re there to take care of people at 35,000 feet.
